Solar cells are known to have defects of electrical shunts. Lock-In thermography can help to detect these shunts when the cell is energized. Our company’s system for solar cell inspections is capable of detecting micro cracks and electrical shunt defects. This is crucial as it can prevent the whole system form collapsing. The shunts can be located when the cell is energized.
